Meet Our Staff

Teresa Arambul—Receptionist/Legal Secretary

As a member of the team for the past three years, Teresa works on the front lines to establish direct relationships with all of our clients and cares for their cases on a one-on-one basis.  Because Teresa was a Certified Spanish Court Interpreter with the State of Oregon, we are able to extend legal services to the Spanish speaking community of San Diego.  Teresa works with each client’s healthcare providers to assure their medical bills are accurate and that each client’s medical file is complete.  As a native of San Diego, Teresa is happy to serve America’s Finest City and enjoys life with her family and beautiful daughter, Cassandra.

Marilyn Davis—Paralegal

Marilyn was born and raised in Bloomington, Minnesota.  She moved to Chula Vista with her parents in 1977, where she still resides with her husband and their three daughters.  When first arriving in California, Marilyn obtained her real estate license and worked briefly in real estate sales.  Marilyn then took a position as a convention manager at the Hotel del Coronado where she worked for seven years until she decided to make a career change.  Not having any previous legal experience, Marilyn learned on the job and honed her legal secretarial skills.  To take her legal career to the next level, Marilyn graduated from the University of San Diego Civil Litigation Paralegal Program in 1990, as a certified paralegal.

Linda Hiney—Office Manager

Linda graduated from the University of Minnesota with a Bachelor of Science Degree.  She was a grade school teacher for several years in Minnesota before relocating to San Diego.  Linda obtained her real estate license in 1977 and was the managing agent for a large South Bay real estate firm.  She went on to run her own company for several more years and maintains her broker’s license.  Since 1990, Linda has been our office manager with the primary responsibility of working with medical providers and health and automobile insurance companies to reduce medical claims for our clients.  Through Linda’s efforts, our clients have been reimbursed many thousands of dollars.  Linda and her husband have a son and daughter and have lived in Chula Vista for over 29 years.
